Create comfortable outdoor shade that blends naturally into your surroundings with this green camouflage netting. Designed for Australian gardens, patios, pergolas and outdoor areas, its natural green finish integrates easily with trees, plants and landscaped spaces.

Made from 180 GSM ripstop polyester with a reinforced mesh structure, this outdoor camouflage net combines durability with a breathable open design. Air can circulate through the netting, helping reduce wind resistance and heat build-up underneath while maintaining practical outdoor shade.

    Product Features

    • 180 GSM Ripstop Polyester: Reinforced polyester construction designed to resist tearing and withstand outdoor use.
    • 70 mm Reinforced Mesh Structure: Combines strength with an open, breathable construction for natural airflow.
    • Wave-Cut Design: Creates a natural camouflage appearance while helping distribute tension across the netting.
    • UV & Mould Resistant Treatment: Helps protect the netting during extended outdoor use.
    • Natural Green Finish: Designed to blend into gardens, vegetation and landscaped outdoor environments.
    • Reinforced Corner Attachments: 40 cm attachment straps at all four corners provide practical connection points for installation.
    • 6 mm Reinforced Rope Edging: Reinforced perimeter construction with corrosion-resistant metal clips for additional strength.
    • Breathable Open Structure: Allows air to pass through the camouflage netting, helping reduce wind resistance and heat build-up.
    • 33 Sizes Available: Multiple dimensions from 2 × 2 m up to 6 × 10 m make it easier to select suitable coverage for your outdoor space.

    Designed for Australian Outdoor Spaces

This green outdoor camouflage net is ideal for creating shade over patios, pergolas, garden seating areas and other outdoor spaces where a natural-looking finish is preferred.

Its green camouflage design integrates particularly well with trees and vegetation, making it a practical option for gardens and landscaped areas without introducing the appearance of a traditional solid shade cover.

    Shade Without Trapping the Heat

The breathable mesh construction allows air to move naturally through the camouflage shade netting. This helps maintain airflow underneath while reducing the wind resistance associated with completely solid outdoor covers.

    Multiple Sizes for Flexible Coverage

With 33 sizes available from 2 × 2 m to 6 × 10 m, you can choose the dimensions that best suit a compact garden area, pergola, patio or larger outdoor space. Multiple nets can also be combined when additional coverage is required.

    Complete Your Installation

For a secure and properly tensioned setup, combine your green camouflage netting with suitable outdoor fixing hardware and adjustable tensioners. Always use structural anchor points appropriate for your installation and outdoor conditions.

    The transformation

From bare paving to a shaded garden room

Paving and concrete hold heat, and once the sun clears the roofline there is nowhere to put a chair. A solid cover fixes the sun but brings its own problems: warm air gets trapped underneath, and every gust pushes against a sealed panel, so the anchoring has to be heavier and the cover comes down more often than it goes up.

    The result

The green netting sits between the two. It breaks up the direct sun overhead while the open mesh lets heat rise straight through, so the area underneath keeps ventilating. Because air passes through rather than pushing against it, there is less load to resist in a breeze, and the wave-cut edge and rope perimeter spread what load there is along the whole edge instead of dumping it into one corner.

    The difference

    See what shade can change.

Most Australian backyards have one area nobody uses between eleven and four. This netting is the least permanent way to make that area sit-able again — no footings, no council forms, no builder.

    Why this one

Why the rectangle, and why green

Two things decide whether a shade net actually gets used: whether it covers the thing you sit at, and whether it looks like it belongs there. Four corners handle the first, the camouflage green handles the second.

    • FOUR-POINT COVERAGE

Four corners give you a full rectangle of shade, which is what covers an outdoor table end to end. A triangle over the same table leaves the ends exposed by mid-afternoon.

    • GREEN AGAINST PLANTING

Set against hedges, trees and climbers, the camouflage pattern reads as foliage rather than as a cover, which is the point of choosing it over a plain colour.

    • WAVE-CUT EDGE

The cut edge helps distribute tension along the perimeter instead of concentrating it at a single corner, and it softens the outline when you look up at it.

    • COMBINE FOR ODD SHAPES

For long or L-shaped areas, two nets overlapped along one edge follow the space better than a single oversized piece pulled out of square.

    Installation

    Four steps, one afternoon

No specialist tools and no help needed beyond a second pair of hands at the corners. Fixing hardware and tensioners are sold separately.

    1. MEASURE POINT TO POINT

Measure between the four anchor points you intend to use, not the area of paving. Then take 30 to 40 cm off each corner for straps, shackles and turnbuckles, and choose the size that lands just under that figure.

    2. CHECK WHAT YOU ANCHOR TO

Fix only into structural material: posts set in concrete, a wall plate into masonry, rafters rather than fascia or gutter. A tree works provided the strap is wide enough not to cut into the trunk.

    3. CLIP AND HAND-TIGHTEN

Attach the 40 cm corner straps at all four points and pull the slack out by hand first, so you can see how the net wants to sit before you start winding anything up.

    4. TENSION WITH A FALL

Set one pair of corners higher than the other so water and leaves run off, then tension evenly around the perimeter until the mesh is flat with no loose bellies in the middle.

    Choose your size

    Which size for your space

Pick by the distance between your fixing points, then go one size down. A net you have to stretch to reach its anchors is one you will be re-tensioning all season.

    • 2 x 3 m

A balcony, a doorway seat, or one lounger against a wall.

    • 3 x 4 m

Covers a four to six seat outdoor table with room to push the chairs back.

    • 4 x 6 m

A full patio or a pergola frame, with shade to spare at the edges.

    • 6 x 10 m

Long terraces, carport spans and larger entertaining areas.

TipRule of thumb: measure the span, deduct roughly 35 cm per corner for hardware, and buy the size under that number. A slightly small net can be reached with a longer turnbuckle; an oversized one can never be pulled taut.

    Questions about this sail

Answers drawn from this product's own specifications.

No. This is an open breathable mesh made for sun and airflow, and water passes straight through it. If keeping a table dry through a shower matters more to you than airflow, a coated waterproof sail is the right product instead.

No. You get the net with its 40 cm corner straps and reinforced rope edging. Turnbuckles, shackles, ropes and wall or post fixings are bought separately, so you can match them to what you are anchoring into.

Measure between the fixing points and take the size below that measurement, allowing roughly 30 to 40 cm at each corner for hardware. A net that comes up slightly short can be reached with a longer turnbuckle; one that is too big can never be tensioned properly.

Yes. Overlapping two nets along one edge is the usual way to cover long or L-shaped areas, and it lets you follow the shape of a terrace instead of pulling one oversized piece out of square.

We do not publish a wind rating, so treat it the way you would any tensioned cover: anchor into structural points, keep it taut with a fall, and take it down before severe weather. The open mesh lets air pass through, which reduces the load compared with a solid cover, but it does not remove it.

Hose it down where it hangs, and use mild soapy water with a soft brush on anything the hose leaves behind. Let it dry fully before folding, and store it dry to protect the mould-resistant treatment.
