Three finishes, three different looks. No-dig flexible edging gives a near-invisible line that bends around any shape — the usual choice for separating lawn from garden beds. Flexible plastic borders are a visible scalloped edge that interlocks section by section. Stone-look borders give the appearance of laid stone with an integrated stake, without any masonry.
If you want the edge to disappear, choose no-dig. If you want it to be part of the look, choose plastic or stone.
Measure the full length of the edge you want to define, following the curves rather than cutting corners, and add around 10% for adjustment. No-dig kits come in 5 m, 10 m and 20 m lengths and can be joined for longer runs. The flexible plastic border comes in 3 m, 6 m and 9 m.
Yes — smooth curves, full circles and straight runs. The no-dig edging bends continuously, so it follows the shape of an existing bed. The interlocking borders follow gentler curves by angling each connected section rather than bending the material itself.
Measure between your fixing points, then allow roughly 30 to 40 cm at each corner for the tensioning hardware. A sail should never be fitted taut across the exact span — it needs slack to be tensioned properly and to move in the wind. If you are between two sizes, size down.
Breathable HDPE lets hot air escape and handles wind better, which makes it the usual choice over a patio or pool through summer. Waterproof polyester keeps rain off but traps heat underneath and catches more wind, so it needs stronger fixing points.
Choose breathable for shade. Choose waterproof only if you genuinely need rain cover.

It is a four-step job: mark out the line you want, unroll the edging along it, set it against the marked line, and secure it with the anchoring spikes. Most beds are finished in an afternoon. No concrete, no trench.
Not for the no-dig kits — that is the point of them. The spikes are driven straight through the edging into the ground. In hard or compacted soil it helps to make a pilot hole first. The interlocking borders are pushed in along their integrated stakes.
For garden edging: a rubber mallet, and something to mark the line — a string line, or a garden hose laid on the ground to trace a curve. For shade sails: a drill suited to whatever you are fixing into, and a spanner for the tensioners. Nothing specialist.
Fixing points that can take real load — a wall, a solid post or a mature tree — plus a hardware kit and tensioners. Sails are supplied without hardware unless the product page says otherwise, so check before you order. Our 304 stainless steel kits are made for outdoor use and resist corrosion near a pool or the coast.
Installed level with the lawn, the no-dig edging is meant to be mown over without damaging the mower or the edging. If you leave it standing proud of the grass it becomes an obstacle — set it flush.

Delivery is free on every order, whatever the amount, and every parcel is tracked.
Orders are prepared within 1 to 2 business days, then take 5 to 10 business days in transit — 6 to 12 business days in total. Weekends and public holidays are not counted. The carrier can vary with the weight and size of the order.
You receive a confirmation email when you order, then a second email with your tracking number once the parcel ships. You can also follow it from the Order Tracking page. If tracking has not moved for several days, email us and we will chase the carrier rather than asking you to do it.
Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Shop Pay. Payments are handled by Shopify's payment providers and card details are encrypted to the PCI-DSS standard — we never see or store your card number.
These are our own returns terms. They sit alongside the consumer guarantees that apply to goods sold in Australia, which we cannot exclude.
Yes. You have 14 days from receiving your parcel to request a return or an exchange, without giving a reason. Email support@altisafe-pro.com first — we confirm the request and give you the return address at that point. Please do not send anything back before you have heard from us.
Complete and in its original condition — packaging, accessories and instructions included — and unused, so that it can be put back on sale. Include the purchase invoice in the parcel.
Return postage is at your cost for a change of mind. If the item was faulty, or we sent the wrong thing, we cover the return once our team has confirmed the problem.
Email support@altisafe-pro.com with photos of the damage and of the packaging. Photos usually let us settle it without the item coming back, and in most cases we can arrange a replacement or a refund from the first reply.
Once the item is back with us and inspected, the refund is issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank it can take up to 14 days to appear on your statement.
